Hi, I'm Lisa, the founder of Launch Your Collection and author of the book, Becoming a Fashion Designer (Wiley). I spent nearly two decades working in the New York fashion industry at the corporate headquarters of Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, J. Crew, J. Mendel, and Banana Republic.
I also teach Apparel Entrepreneurship as an adjunct professor at the Jim Moran School of Entrepreneurship at Florida State University.

Back in 2011, while finalizing my book manuscript in my Upper East Side apartment in Manhattan, I kept hearing stories of aspiring fashion entrepreneurs struggling to start their own apparel brands.

I then had an epiphany—why not use my vast fashion industry knowledge and expertise to help fashion entrepreneurs like you launch your own apparel brands?

And just like that, Launch Your Collection was born.
