- Was one of the few employees at Ralph Lauren Corporation that was invited into design meetings with Ralph himself and learned directly from one of the most legendary fashion designers of all time
- Was hired at Ralph Lauren Corporation as their first ever fabric archives manager in a position created by Mr. Ralph Lauren; she later took on a fashion design role for the Ralph Lauren women's golf division
- Landed a book deal from Wiley to write, Becoming a Fashion Designer, which published worldwide in 2012 and has since been translated into two languages, Mandarin (2015) and Arabic (2019); no other fashion career book contains as many original interviews from top designers and industry insiders, including Manolo Blahnik, Reem Acra, Stuart Weitzman, Daymond John (Shark Tank, ABC), Ralph Rucci, Dennis Basso, Anna Sui, celebrity stylist and t.v. personality Robert Verdi, Peter Som, Pamella Roland, Kay Unger, and many more, who impart insider advice and invaluable insight. - Hand selected the fabric for the custom made gown worn by Terie Hatcher to the 2005 Emmy Awards, for her nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in Desperate Housewives
- Was hired directly by Sean Combs to work alongside him as his fabric director for the Sean John Menswear Fall 2008 New York Fashion Week show, while simultaneously being filmed alongside Sean for the MTV documentary, If I Were King. It features Sean Combs and the entire fashion and fabric teams as they prepared 28 runway looks in an unprecedented 3 month turnaround time, while being filmed by an MTV crew.
- Dressed actor Ethan Hawke for a premiere in New York.
- Was invited by Oscar de la Renta to design and illustrate three original designs, two of which inspired designs included in his Spring 2004 show at New York Fashion Week.
- Worked directly with visionary and founder Gilles Mendel at J. Mendel, a couture fashion house based in New York in a fabric and trim sourcing and research and development role for four seasonal runway collections per year, custom celebrity gowns, and wholesale accounts including Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue
- Will become Adjunct Professor at the Jim Moran School of Entrepreneurship at Florida State University School where Lisa will teach the first ever offered course on Fashion Entrepreneurship in Fall 2024

LYC is a leader in developing and launching apparel brands for public figures, influencers, personal stylists, and celebrities. We are dedicated to helping your clients increase their brand equity through the development and launch of their own customized apparel brand that caters to their fans and followers worldwide.
With our founder and CEO at the helm, each apparel launch is lead and managed by our founder and in-house creative team, using minimal client time, while producing maximum results.
Our founder's exemplary experience working for legendary fashion designers such as Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, and J. Mendel and top fashion houses such as Banana Republic, J. Crew, and Gant, as well as her breadth of fashion industry experience puts her in a class by herself.
While we offer an all-inclusive signature launch program for our fashion entrepreneur start-ups, we started Launch Your Collection Celebrity when we began getting consistent inquiries from former Bachelorette (ABC) leads and contestants of the Bachelor (ABC) and Bachelor in Paradise (ABC).
We have since been in direct talks with with those cast on the Real Housewives of Orange County (Bravo) and Teen Mom (MTV), as well as agents from Teall Management and William Morris Endeavor (WME) for a reality tv personality and influencer, A-list celebrities, such as Channing Tatum, Sarah Jessica Parker, Zendaya, and the wife of a Grammy award-winning Nashville-based country music singer.
Lisa has extensive experience working directly with celebrities and public figures. She hand selected the silk crinkle chiffon fabric for Terie Hatcher's custom J. Mendel gown for the 2004 Emmy Awards, dressed Ethan Hawke for one of his New York premieres, Jen Garner for a Vogue cover shoot, and many others.
